EGX30 ends Monday below 11,000 pts

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session on a varied note with the main EGX30 index falling by 0.27% to 10,995 points.

Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI increased by 0.56% to 2,133 points, while the EGX100 EWI advanced by 0.43% to 3,088 points.

In addition, the EGX50 EWI rose by 0.33% to end at 2,247 points.

The market cap value grew by EGP 4.2 billion to stand at EGP 651.514 billion.

Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 67.02 million, while local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 27.3 million and EGP 39.65 million, respectively.

The market’s turnover reached EGP 1.76 billion after 719.42 million shares were exchanged through about 55,030 transactions.
