Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a varied performance on Monday, with the EGX30 main index rising by 0.90% to 25,381.25 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI went down by 0.96% to close at 5,474.85 points.
The EGX100 EWI shrank 0.56% to 7,878.51 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.34 billion through the exchange of 657.94 million shares. In addition, the market cap value of EGX hit EGP 1.70 trillion at the end of the session.
As for trading on securities, foreign investors were the net buyers with EGP 226.14 million.
On the other hand, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 177.90 million and EGP 48.24 million, respectively.
