Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has suspended trading on Orascom Investment Holding’s stock as of Wednesday, 31 October, in response to the Financial Regulatory Authority’s (FRA) request.
Trading on the stock will be halted until the FRA releases another statement regarding the matter, the EGX said in a statement on Wednesday.
In September, chairman of Orascom Investment Naguib Sawiris said that his company was nearing to seal an agreement with the housing ministry to purchase a land plot in Cairo governorate.
