Cairo – Mubasher: The main index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday lower by 0.57% at 11,273 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 3.56% to 1,944 points.
The EGX100 EWI also went down by 2.9% to 2,886 points, and similarly, the EGX50 EWI dropped 3.13% to 1,870 points.
The Egyptian stock market’s turnover stood at EGP 547.62 million after 209.72 million shares were exchanged through 28,690 transactions. This is compared to EGP 853 million and 235.9 million shares last session.
The market cap value plunged by EGP 6.7 billion to EGP 703.69 billion.
Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 91 million, while foreign and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 5.15 million and EGP 85.85 million, respectively.
