Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed positive performance on Sunday, with the EGX30 main index closing higher by 1.04% at 19,577.85 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI went up by 0.55% to 3,831.98 points. In addition, the EGX100 EWI rose by 0.53% to 5,643.19 points.
The turnover stood at EGP 1.89 billion after 721.19 million shares were traded, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.31 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 37.58 million and EGP 11.69 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 49.28 million.
