Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday higher by 0.59% at 11,596.29 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went up by 0.34% to 2,045.31 points.
EGX100 EWI edged up 0.2% to end the session at 3,182.83 points.
Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI inched down by 0.01% to 2,147.61 points.
EGX’s turnover stood at EGP 1.24 billion through the trading of 439.55 million shares, compared to EGP 2.02 billion and 633.65 million shares in the previous session.
The market cap value increased to EGP 753.07 billion from EGP 747.79 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 101.84 million, while Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 6.25 million and EGP 95.59 million, respectively.
