Cairo - Mubasher: The main index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) inched up 0.04% to settle at 11,622.1 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI meanwhile went down 0.01% to 2,113.24 points, while the EGX100 EWI rose by 0.18% to 3,129.67 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI went up 0.01% to 2,017.55 points.
A total of 350.995 million shares were traded through 37,561 transactions valued at EGP 2.7 billion, compared to 651.72 million shares traded at a total value of EGP 7.33 billion in the earlier session.
The market cap value increased to EGP 733.415 billion, compared to EGP 731.73 billion on Tuesday.
As for trading on securities, Egyptians were net buyers with EGP 142.285 million, while Arabs and foreigners were net sellers with EGP 73.122 million and EGP 69.162 million, respectively.
