Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark index (EGX30) closed Thursday higher by 0.43% to settle at 11,949.18 points.
The EGX100 EWI gained 0.85% to reach 3,255.21 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 1% to end the session at 2,097.82 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI meanwhile went up by 0.85% to 2,201.79 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 3.484 billion after trading 985.037 million shares through 36,601 transactions.
The market cap capital reached EGP 765.579 billion, up from EGP 753.49 million during the previous session.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 1.37 billion, while Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 62.975 million and EGP 1.31 billion, respectively.
