Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell by 0.13% to end Wednesday at 11,898.42 points.
The other indexes meanwhile closed in green, with EGX100 EWI up by 0.10% to 3,227.81 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI added 0.07% to close at 2,183.29 points. Similarly, the EGX50 EWI went up by 0.24% to 2,077.05 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 997.25 million through the trading of 321.73 million shares, compared to EGP 1.2 billion and 329.95 million shares in the previous session.
Meanwhile, the market cap value declined to EGP 753.49 million from EGP 752.99 billion on Tuesday.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 41.32 million, while Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 15.63 million and EGP 25.69 million, respectively.
