Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) went down by 0.15% to close Sunday’s session at 9,276.28 points.
The remaining indexes ended the session higher, with the EGX50 EWI up by 0.83% to 1,698.29 points.
Both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 0.94% to 1,815.13 points and 0.85% to 2,664.44 points, respectively.
EGX’s trading value totalled EGP 565.51 million after 397.18 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value reached EGP 624.17 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 21.05 million and EGP 2.61 million, respectively, while the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 23.66 million.
