Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session on a varied note, with the EGX30 main index edging down by 0.74% to 11,179.2 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went down by 0.26% to 2,038.47 points.
On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI index closed the session higher by 0.29% to 2,219.68 points, while the EGX100 EWI index remained unchanged at 3,226.08 points.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 702.55 million after 300 million shares were exchanged during the session. The market cap value reached EGP 758.05 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 7.49 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 4.07 million and EGP 3.41 million, respectively.
