Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed higher on Tuesday, with the EGX30 main index rising by 1.62% to 19,724.32 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI went up by 1.58% to 3,668.55 points.
Furthermore, the EGX100 EWI added 1.76% to close at 5,464.15 points.
The turnover reached EGP 2.37 billion after 483.81 million shares were traded, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.32 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 440.82 million. Meanwhile, both the Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 213.28 million and EGP 227.53 million, respectively.
