Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session with a negative performance, as the EGX30 main index declined by 0.47% to 15,253.22 points.
Additionally, the EGX50 EWI fell by 1.50% to 2,608.28 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session lower by 1.36% at 2,733.94 points and by 1.37% at 4,040.24 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover stood at EGP 1.43 billion after 518.17 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value reached EGP 988.34 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 56.32 million and EGP 15.83 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 72.16 million.
