Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) went up 0.04% to close Wednesday's trading session at 11,568.14 points.
The EGX50 EWI inched up by 0.02% to settle at 1,977.08 points by the end of Wednesday's session, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.06% to 1,985.37 points.
EGX100 EWI edged down by 0.06% to end the session at 2,992.4 points.
Turnover amounted to EGP 3.79 billion after 284.67 million shares had been exchanged through 29,832 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 729.17 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 30.54 million and EGP 4.91 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 10,843.
