EGX’s indices decline collectively on Tuesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell on Tuesday, with the EGX30 main index ending the session lower by 3.78% at 22,550.65 points.

Similarly, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as the EGX100 EWI went down by 2.15% to 4,325.84 points and by 2.81% to 6,476.59 points, respectively.

The turnover reached EGP 4.72 billion after 977.62 million shares were traded, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.53 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 83.29 million, while both the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 79.53 million and EGP 3.75 million in respective order.
