Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices grew at the end of Thursday’ session, while market capitalisation gained EGP 5.3 billion to reach EGP 705.11 billion.
The benchmark index, EGX30, rose by 0.65% to 13,849 points, shrugging off declines during eight successive sessions.
The EGX70 index increased by 0.71% to 533 points and EGX100 went up by 0.65% to 1,402 points. The equally weighted index, EGX50 added 0.56% to reach 2,011 points.
The EGX’s trading volume reached 78.5 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to EGP 328.8 million.
