Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance after the EGX30 main rose by 0.28% to 16,948.08 points.
On the other hand, the EGX50 EWI declined by 0.83% to 2,818.06 points.
Both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session lower by 0.65% at 2,831.29 points and by 0.72% at 4,277.88 points, respectively.
Egypt’s turnover reached EGP 1.92 billion through the exchange of 515.83 million shares, whereas the market cap value hit EGP 1.07 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the foreign and Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 99.37 million and EGP 35.15 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 134.52 million.
