Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone after the EGX30 main index rose by 0.53% to 17,522.56 points.
Additionally, the EGX50 EWI went up by 1.36% to 2,961.78 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session higher by 1.03% at 3,003.90 points and by 1.01% at 4,523.49 points, respectively.
Egypt’s turnover reached EGP 2.69 billion after 563.01 million shares were exchanged during the session, whereas the market cap value hit EGP 1.10 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 172.92 million and EGP 22.07 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 195 million.
