Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session higher by 0.75% at 10,553.20 points.
The EGX50 EWI rose by 0.89% to 1,974.17 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed higher by 0.75% to 2,225.80 points and by 0.82% to 3,196.04 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.78 billion after 527 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 720.37 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 172.74 million and EGP 366.66 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 539.41 million.
