Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session higher, with the EGX30 main index up by 0.54% to 9,853.74 points.
The EGX50 EWI gained 0.61% to 1,878.86 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed higher by 1.44% to 2,151.94 points and by 1.19% to 3,077.69 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.01 billion after 341.57 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 687.54 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 295.96 million and EGP 77.64 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 373.61 million.
