EGX’s indices close Thursday in red zone

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session lower, with the EGX30 main index down 0.62% to 9,936.87 points.

The EGX50 EWI also fell by 0.93% to 1,885.79 points.

Furthermore, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session down by 1.63% to 2,165.39 points and by 1.44% to 3,107.69 points, respectively.

The trading value amounted to EGP 1.04 billion through the exchange of 676.97 million shares. The market cap value stood at EGP 679.87 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 149.46 million and EGP 14.59 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 164.06 million.
