EGX’s indices close Sunday’s session down

Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session in the red territory, with the EGX30 main index sliding by 1.97% to 14,843.05 points.

The EGX50 EWI also dropped by 1.48% to 2,594.03 points.

Additionally, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session lower by 0.95% to 2,836.84 points and by 1.11% to 4,167.52 points, respectively.

The turnover amounted to EGP 1.98 billion after 909.12 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value reached EGP 960.01 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 82 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 24.40 million and EGP 57.60 million, respectively.
