Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session in the green territory, with the EGX30 main index growing by 1.98% to close at the level of 10,048.88 points.
The EGX50 EWI rose by 1.44% to 1,905.91 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices also closed higher by 1.61% to 2,186.65 points and by 1.56% to 3,125.71 points, respectively.
The turnover totalled EGP 935.96 million after 528.43 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value reached EGP 697.03 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 21.09 million and EGP 51.14 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 72.23 million.
