Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session on a negative note, with the EGX30 main index down 0.90% to 10,246.24 points.
The EGX50 EWI also declined by 0.08% to 1,913.57 points.
Additionally, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session lower by 0.08% to 2,193.78 points and by 0.15% to 3,148.12 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.53 billion after 891.42 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value stood at EGP 690.27 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 94.66 million and EGP 51.06 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 145.72 million.
