EGX’s indexes fall on Wednesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell by 0.77% to end Wednesday’s trading session at 11,189.29 points

The EGX50 EWI retreated by 0.45% to close at 1,915.51 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI went down by 0.04% to 1,852.9 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI edged down by 0.14% to 2,835.11 points.

EGX’s turnover reached EGP 829.22 billion through the exchange of 302.54 million shares. The market cap value totalled EGP 708.19 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 42.27 million and EGP 127.25 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 169.53 million.
