Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday lower by 1.21% at 11,438.12 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went down by 2.58% to 1,971.93 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI plunged by 6.33% to 1,982.52 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI declined by 4.95% to end the session at 2,984.72 points.
EGX’s turnover totalled EGP 1 billion through the trading of 389.73 million shares.
The market cap value stood at EGP 726.66 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 234.64 million, while foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 217.96 million and EGP 16.68 million, respectively.
