Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session with a collective rise after the EGX30 main index went up by 0.71% to 17,123.01 points.
Additionally, the EGX50 EWI rose by 0.62% to 2,937.13 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session higher by 1.42% at 3,059.92 points and by 1.13% at 4,546.04 points, respectively.
EGX's turnover stood at EGP 2.20 billion after 666.57 million shares were exchanged during the session, whereas the market cap value hit EGP 1.09 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 80.26 million and EGP 49.16 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 129.42 million.
