EGX’s indexes close Wednesday on mixed note

Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s session down by 1.71% at 10,444.76 points.

The EGX50 EWI fell by 0.33% to 1,796.03 points.

Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.21% to close at 1,748.70 points. EGX100 EWI also went up by 0.56% to 2,667.04 points.

EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 579.75 million through the exchange of 189.44 million shares. The market cap value totalled EGP 680.27 billion.

As for trading on securities, Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 17.06 million, while Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 6.54 million and EGP 10.52 million, respectively.
