Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday down by 0.29% at 11,535.02 points.
The EGX50 EWI, meanwhile, added 0.28% to close at 1,982.53 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 0.08% to 1,983.82 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI edged down by 0.02% to end the session at 2,991.82 points.
EGX’s turnover stood at EGP 587.24 million through the trading of 232.35 million shares.
The market cap value reached EGP 725.83 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 33.94 million, while both Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 8.25 million and EGP 25.69 million, respectively.
