Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) main index (EGX30) ended Tuesday higher by 0.2% at 11,538 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI meanwhile plunged by 2.82% to 2,135.28 points.
The EGX100 EWI lost 2.29% to close at 3,136.88 points. Similarly, the EGX50 EWI fell by 2.19% to 2,032.62 points.
The turnover totalled EGP 1.77 billion after 622.48 million shares were traded, compared to EGP 1.85 billion and 610.2 million shares in the previous session.
The market cap value stood at EGP 728.96 billion, lower than EGP 732.28 billion in the last session.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 3.61 million and EGP 27.29 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 30.9 million.
