Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell by 1.87% to 11,094.66 points on Sunday.
The EGX50 EWI also retreated by 0.71% to close the session at 1,925 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI meanwhile gained 1.32% to close at 1,911.72 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI added 0.50% to reach 2,896.62 points.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 763.36 million through the trading of 261.80 million shares. The market cap value totalled EGP 708.56 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 58.51 million and EGP 28.79 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 87.31 million.
