Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session in the green zone, growing by 3.22% to stand at 14,078.53 points.
The EGX50 EWI also gained 3.40% to settle at 2,408.73 points.
Moreover, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI increased by 1.78% to 2,668.98 points and by 2.39% to 3,900.89 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.37 billion after 825.26 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 913.95 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 104.18 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 46.33 million and EGP 57.84 million, respectively.
