Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started Sunday’s trading session in green territory on the back of local and Arab buying.
By 10:13 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index added 71.92 points, or 0.54%, to 13,355.23 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index levelled up 0.13% to 685.97 points, while the broader EGX100 index went up 0.32% to 1,724.48 points.
Likewise, the equal-weighted EGX50 index rose by 1.09% to 2,068 points.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 8.27 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 24.4 million through 841 transactions.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 333,200, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 252,160 and EGP 81,040, respectively.
