Cairo-Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened on positive note on Tuesday, as the benchmark index EGX30 added 0.46% to 7,191.26 points.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 went up 0.17% to 1,201.86 points.
Similarly, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 gained 0.07% to 388.76 points, while the broader index EGX100 went down slide 0.15% to 834.84 points.
In early trade, the market turnover recorded EGP 33 million, on trading 22.6 million shares, through 1,400 transactions.
Local and Arab investors stepped in as net buyers with EGP 1.23 million and EGP 2 million respectively while foreign came out as net sellers with EGP 3.2 million.
