Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 edged up 0.41% or 56.53 points to the level of 13,797.25 points on Wednesday.
The EGX70 inched down 0.27% to 700.89 points, while the EGX100 slipped 0.13% to 1,599.71 points.
The EGX50 inched up 0.26% to the level of 2,120.52 points.
Traded volume reached about 358.27 million shares, exchanged through 25,530 transactions with a turnover of EGP 830.7 million.
Market capitalisation gained EGP 1.8 billion and closed at EGP 718.09 billion.
Foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 66.6 million, while Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with EGP 6.8 million and 59.8 million, respectively.
Ghabbour Auto led blue chips with an increase of 5.50%, followed by Oriental Weavers with 3.46%, and Talaat Moustafa Group with 1.87%.
On the other hand, Juhayna Food, Credit Agricole - Egypt, and Telecom Egypt dropped 1.59%, 1.25%, and 1.18%, respectively.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) rose 0.10% to EGP 86.15, with a turnover of EGP 103.11 million.
