Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session in the green zone, with the EGX30 main index inching up by 0.72% to close at 15,068.13 points.
The EGX50 EWI added 0.77% to 2,695.43 points.
Likewise, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI rose by 1.90% to 2931.03 points and by 1.57% to 4,326.04 points, respectively.
The turnover reached EGP 2.26 billion after 1.40 billion shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 991.63 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 57.50 million and EGP 11.73 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 69.24 million.
