Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session with a varied performance after the EGX30 main index jumped by 5.55% to 17,671.27 points.
Both EGX50 EWI and EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 1.21% at 2,979.53 points and by 0.43% at 4,485.55 points, respectively.
On the other hand, the EGX70 EWI declined by 0.14% to 2,969.83
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 1.84 billion after 346.05 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.11 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 69.43 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 67.60 million and EGP 1.82 million, respectively.
