EGX indices close Sunday’s session down

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session on a collective decline, with the EGX30 main index inching down by 0.70% to close at the level of 9,940.86 points.

Likewise, the EGX50 EWI levelled down by 0.50% to reach 1,897.77 points.  

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices also closed lower by 1.40% to 2,184.47 points and by 1.09% to 3,122.2 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, the market’s turnover totalled EGP 560.56 million after 362.10 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value stood at EGP 691.17 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 5.64 million and EGP 14.05 million, respectively, whereas the Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 19.70 million.
