EGX indices close Sunday’s session down

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session in the red zone, with the EGX30 main index points sliding by 1.43% to 9,687.36 points.

Similarly, the EGX50 EWI points decreased by 1.21% to stand at 1,881.47.

Moreover, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices declined by 1.47% to 2,217.31 points and by 1.50% to 3,140.5 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, EGX’s turnover reached 724.08 million through the exchange of 501.47million shares. The market cap value amounted to EGP 681.37 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 39.20 million, whereas foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 10.59 million and EGP 28.61 million, respectively.
