Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday's trading session in the green territory on the back of Arab and foreign purchases.
The benchmark EGX30 index advanced by 1.94% to end the mid-week session at 10,431 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 2.27% to 2,374 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI rose by 1.98% to 3,321 points and the EGX50 EWI levelled up by 2.01% to 2,161 points.
The market cap value increased by EGP 9.46 billion to close at EGP 668.774 billion.
Local investors were net sellers with EGP 906.67 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 34.84 million and EGP 871.83 million, respectively.
The market's turnover recorded EGP 1.35 billion after 329.255 million shares were exchanged through nearly 45,590 transactions.
