Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Monday’s close by 0.99% or 123.61 points to the level of 12,623.22 points.
The EGX70, EGX100 and EGX50 indices grew 0.01%, 0.15% and 0.51% respectively.
Turnover reached EGP 7.4 billion, trading volume amounted to 613.6 million shares.
The market capitalisation increased EGP 3.7 billion to EGP 616.57 billion.
Local investors were net buyers by EGP 26.7 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 10.26 million and EGP 16.2 million respectively.
Heliopolis Company for Housing rose 8.3%, Ezz Steel advanced 6.3%, Madinet Nasr Hosing leapt 4.1%, Arabian Cement ascended 3.99% and CIB grew 0.43%.
Meanwhile, AMOC, Universal, Domty, Eastern Company declined between 8.8% and 1.5%.
