Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green zone, with the EGX30 main index inching up by 0.14% to 14,598.53 points.
The EGX50 EWI added 0.30% to close at 2,609.45 points.
Likewise, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed higher by 0.37% to 2,801.93 points and by 0.35% to 4,145.5 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.84 billion after 1 billion shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 961.22 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 167.41 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 147.92 million and EGP 19.48 million, respectively.
