Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday lower by 0.32% at 11,138.86 points.
The EGX50 EWI went down by 0.99% to close at 1,893.75 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 1.58% to 1,819.36 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI lost 1.27% to end the session at 2,787.33 points.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 814.23 million after 247.17 million shares were exchanged, compared to EGP 566.60 million and 323.13 million shares last session.
The market cap value totalled EGP 701.99 billion, compared to EGP 704.45 billion on Sunday.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 24.31 million and EGP 83.16 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 107.47 million.
