Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 0.88% at 9,112.72 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.59% to close Wednesday’s session at 1,644.13 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.79% to 2,580.07 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 1.03% to close at 1,756.21 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.15 billion after 436.19 million shares had been traded through 35,604 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 615.65 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 975.67 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 155.77 million and EGP 819.90 million, respectively.
