Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 2.71% at 10,705.6 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 3.03% to close Wednesday's session at 1,873.12 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 2.95% to 2,828.71 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 2.65% to close at 1,875.23 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 6.70 billion after 363.56 million shares had been traded through 43,402 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 694.58 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 1.46 billion, while the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 70.29 million and EGP 1.39 billion, respectively.
