Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session on a collective rise, with the EGX30 main index higher by 1.50% at 15,378.28 points.
The EGX50 EWI went up by 1.72% to 2,665.22 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI also closed higher by 1.99% to 2,882.72 points and by 1.64% to 4,247.39 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 3.85 billion after 1.40 billion shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 984.74 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 496.70 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 198.42 million and EGP 298.27 million, respectively.
