Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday's trading session on a varied note as the EGX30 was the only decliner with 0.27%, ending at 10,907 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.43% to 2,932 points, while the EGX100 EWI increased by 0.19% to 3,903 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI edged up by 0.01% to close at 2,420 points.
The market cap value retreated by EGP 394.9 million to close at EGP 720.554 billion.
Local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 466.8 million and EGP 185.1 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 651.9 million.
The market's turnover amounted to EGP 2.3 billion after 556.48 million shares were exchanged through around 59,950 transactions.
