Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session higher by 1.87% at 9,033.53 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.17% to close Tuesday's session at 1,745.89 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 1.30% to 2,559.92 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 1.43% to close at 1,627.33 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.13 billion after 395.48 million shares had been traded through 34,265 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 611.59 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 432.89 million and EGP 11.92 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 444.82 million.
