Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session higher by 1.15% at 11,370.51 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.36% to close Tuesday's session at 1,928.5 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.72% to 2,918.6 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.99% to close at 1,942.07 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 4.34 billion after 248.21 million shares had been traded through 34,874 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 731.18 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 22.08 million and EGP 14.39 million, respectively, while the Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 36.48 million.
