EGX ends Tuesday’s session on collective decline

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session in the red territory, with the EGX30 main index sliding by 1.46% to 14,523.26 points.

Likewise, the EGX50 EWI inched down by 0.46% to 2,594.57 points.

Moreover, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI went down by 0.59% to 2,797.04 points and by 0.53% to 4,137.93 points, respectively.

The turnover amounted to EGP 2.59 billion after 898.26 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value reached EGP 952.61 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 187.87 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 73.48 million and EGP 114.39 million, respectively.
